The guidelines encompassed the general rule of thumb.
Here: I outline the plot.
This story is only a liquid plot; Unlike a solid plot, we define this plot page by page with our characters, one word at a time, and, unlike a gaseous plot, there is still a goal to be had, a semi-prefab structure to work with.
once everyone is unified in the story, we will begin a serious octilogy.

Apocalypse: Tales of the Phoenix Days; The First Saga of Tomorrow
____________________________________________________
In the beginning of the story, all is seemingly well as it has ever been. governments are still pissants, people still ignorant of the world around them, absorbed in their own lives, technology on the rise as ever.
The date is somewhere late 2012/early 2013.
We will begin with a daily routine, for all aspects of life from east to west and north to south. Inside and outside, we will define the usual humdrum of life in all it's expressions for our individual characters.
Around the final entry, which I hope to be an astral "humdrum", life will suddenly change, so drastically that we may only speculate (for now) what will happen and what could happen.
I desire the 'humdrum' saga to last at least 3-5 "chapters", but it will go as it will, as we drive it. With our penis.
-er pens. That says pens.
ah wait, I mean type, uh...
just continue...

Apocalypse: Tales of the Phoenix Days; The Second Saga of Tomorrow
____________________________________________________
Now, the shit has hit the fan, the world is changing drastically. Politics have encroached societies more than ever, government has become the defining force of culture, and world war has replaced recreation.
During the changes of the world, awareness has shot up tenfold, and spiritual influences have become *13%* stronger.
An astral-physical gate -designed eons ago to trap the world into a solid, physical, unchanging, and inflexible state of existence- has been broken. The physical world begins "boiling" off and the astral world begins bleeding in.
The result is more or less catastrophic.
The next 3-12 chapters will encompass the change from humdrum to holocaust over a period of months if not weeks.

Apocalypse: Tales of the Phoenix Days; The Beginning of the End
____________________________________________________
As world wars erupt, subside, then erupt again, other out-worldly beings have slowly seeped into the world in the forms of toxic and poisonous goo & gas and Gnomes and goblins, and Pixies & Fae. The evil spirits are trying to invade the only way they can so far, and cannot yet maintain physical bodies, while the positive counterparts help fight back in the small bodied forms of fairies, sprites, and other such kin.
The next few chapters will encompass the change of these molecular creatures from goo and gas to solid bone and flesh.
Demons have been born and are now a threat to the world and treat to the war.
They become the center of attention, and slowly "aid" the positives to revelation of the history of the gates.
They begin attacking other sites around the globe, attempting to break down the gates and open up larger portals for them to invade with larger and more dangerous bodies.
WE now take it upon ourselves to help or hinder them. We will all play our parts and do what we decide. The results of the story are still gas. The path it takes is liquid. These events encountered are solid.

Apocalypse: Tales of the Phoenix Days; History repeats itself?
____________________________________________________
We have learned that the gates were created in the mythological "golden" age by both humans and gods alike to prevent the corruption of our Earth by negative entities bent on destroying the light.
We learn that in the golden age, the world was metaphysical, a semi-flexible astral domain wherein life, and reality itself, could be explored to it's fullest. we learn that the world was actually what we currently consider the universe, and encompassed infinity. Places like Asgard, and the river Styx were all very "physically" real.
But when these darker denizens attacked, the world had to be protected, and we trapped ourselves in an inflexible planet to prevent the light of wisdom from being forever lost.
We learn that many mythological beings have since been trapped here, strong majiks their only means of escape, rapidly dying mana, barely replenishing itself now, enough just to sustain the ecosystem of the galaxy and all life inhabiting the earth and moon.
We also learn how to restore the gates.
