So i have been toying around with Lycanthropianism...
I want to rehaul the entire were-community. to more than lycan... more than wolf.
Lycan, meaning wolf, and Thropy, meaning human... The wolfman.
But what about a weretiger? or a wereshark? Admittably, a landshark is kind of corny, but never the less, something permissable here.
I want a term to recognize the condition, as Lycan is not suitable for more than the werewolves; i want to include all "were".
Therianthropy is what i have so far, but seems unsuitable, as it applies to mammals. Specifically mammals that give birth to live young without using a shelled egg.
So a weresnake couldnt apply to it as i originally understood-incorrectly so it seems.
Anthropomorphism is a much more broad term that applies more to skinwalkers than it can 'Were', as a werebeing is half something, half human (in the case of a werehuman, this is NPC, so disregard it thereof).
So... much research will be done, but for now, "therianthropy" will be used.
Anyone who can come up with something broader to terms pertaining to any complex living organic structure above the cellular and plant life forms would be great.
